It was time to celebrate our wedding anniversary so following on from recommendations from a couple of friends decided to try high tea at Highgate.
Surrounding are quite pleasant and we were met at the door by our very friendly host Cathy who had us seated in a nice window seat overlooking the gardens. Very quaint rooms with a lot of memorabilia around the room. On this particular occasion we were in the company of a dozen women at another table who were quite boisterous which made it hard to hear what was on offer although it didn’t need much to work out that the offering was quite pleasant to say the least.
Cathy and staff kept us well served with plenty of fresh brewed tea and the food itself was very good. It didn’t look like much initially but by the time we got to the scones on top we were beginning to struggle a bit. Which is good.
Would definitelt recommend to others who may be considering.
